Wednesday May 28th
Track Clean up 6- 7 PM , PLEASE bring rakes and shovels to help. We also could use help in cleaning of buildings etc. ALWAYS something that needs done at EPBMX :) Help work on track\gate drops are FREE 2nd & 4th Wednesday of every month. We need a chain saw to cut down tree down by concessions, if you have one please bring to track clean up. We also need someone to trim up bushes by starting hill.

I want to say a BIG THANKS to Nikki & Craig Winkler , Marv Rozner, Logan Mccoy .Frank Edomwonyi, Phil Cly , Tracy & Race Lee for stepping up to help maintain the track and facilities. With Josh injured and James having backproblems . HUGE THANKS to John & Luke Dimmitt for helping to work on the track mow , weed eat , trim trees at the track. The city does not mow anything inside the wire to the fence to the north . That is our responsibility.
..If you want to help mow, weed eat , pick up trash please feel free to do anytime to help us to keep our track looking nice.
In an effort to allow more individuals the opportunity to watch their kids race we have put together a sign-up sheet in hopes of getting folks to volunteer at least one Friday a month in the concession stand. When you fill in your name please include a phone number so in the event someone is unable to make it they can contact someone to trade with or get someone to take their place. .
The concession stand is a great opportunity for the track to bring in a little extra cash (which we desperately need due to all the vandalism we have encountered) and it is something that the riders and spectators enjoy. So, please consider signing up to help one Friday a month. By committing to volunteer once a month you are allowing other individuals to do what we all enjoy doing and that is watching our kids race. Thanks to everyone for your help.

Anyone interested in learning a job at EPBMX myself or Nikki will train you on Wednesday during track clean up/ gates. Or I can also train you during rider Improvement on Thursdays. We did not get enough people to pre pay for the George " The Mangler" Andrews clinic. If you paid George contact him at themanglerbmx@yahoo.com or 815-222-2228 . Or if you pre paid Dayna I can return your check at the track. I will talk with George and try to set another date. I will post when we set the new date.We will have to get 20 pre paid to make this clinic happen on another date. George will be at Blues Springs at the Mid America Nationals if anyone would like to talk to him. This is a clinic I hope the EPBMX riders can have at our track on another date. I know my son Josh was VERY interested in this clinic himself

I need parents who can help do EPBMX promotional booth to recruit new riders at Kids Health Fair on Wednesday May 16th from 8:00 AM -2:45 Pm at Valley Center Middle School. Nikki Winkler , Raylee Jones and Lisa Dimmit did last year at Derby. One parent was impressed and called to see if we would do at Valley Center middle school this year. Please contact Dayna by Tuesday 5-15-2008.All you have to do is pass out flyers and tell kids/ adults about BMX , I have BMX DVDs and TV you can play and take EPBMX banner etc. I also usually bring a first time rider trophy.. If no more rain and dries out hopefully we can work on Wednesday on track clean up .If you can help next week please call 529-2582 or email kansas_bmx@cox.

With numerous new memberships we will be doing registration different. If you are new full, temporary or one day membership, you will go in right side window. If you are just signing up your rider/s or renewing , you will go in the left side lane. We hope this will help in registration. Please patient. In first weekend we have processed well over 50 riders ABA memberships and GEAR memberships :) This is GREAT all new riders and families to EPBMX!!!!!!!
